A belief system was already placed upon you without your realization and acceptance.
Our thoughts are the foundations of what we attract and pursue in life. The social media you consume, the movies you watch, the people you listen to, the location you live. They are all contributors towards your past, present, and future situations.
The beliefs you generate from a young age are monumental for the way you approach life. Our parents have raised us from the way they view the world. For some, this may be the greatest advantage, but for others it’s a chaotic, dark whole that you never come out from.
You rely on your parents at a young age, thinking everything they do is the correct way to navigate through life. Change will take place when you take initiative. View the world through your own lens, and be courageous in your endeavors.
Everything is an attempt to keep you controlled. That’s why you’re immediately put into a mold for one-size fits all system. We’re all unique individuals, stemming from our personalities, environments, and interests.
Being in the public school setting, you’re told to behave and do what the teacher tells you. Being obedient and following along the masses installed from early.
Once we gain more clarity we start to question why we’re taught subject that have no relevance. You notice particular degrees don’t carry as much weight as they did. You get paid for the value you provide to the world through your skills, so why weren’t we taught this from earlier?
Limiting beliefs effect everyone. The first step of breaking out of it is realizing how you’re trapped. You can’t control the world, but you can effect how it controls you. You have the power to make the decisions that will break you free.
Think of an iPhone. What do you do before updating your iPhone software? You delete needless storage to make space for the system update. This is the first step in your journey to break your limiting beliefs.
Deleting storage from a human perspective is removing beliefs that don’t provide value.
This could be the way you view money.
You may have grown up in a low income household with the view of large amounts of money acquiring money is evil. Upgrading your operating system is a viewing money as a tool. Providing for yourself and your family to live a fulfilling life without struggle.
Unlocking the mindset of acquiring money isn’t evil, it is a skill proportionate to the value you provide.
In a later update, you learn a skill to acquire the income. In another update you learn how to invest money.
This is a repeated cycle. The fun part about it, we’re always updating and upgrading ourselves.
You need to realize where you’re at, how you’ve been operating, and what you’ll change. There’s no limit, only the limits you’ve placed on yourself.
